We only collect what we need to quote, book and carry out plumbing and gas work for you. That is usually:

- details of the job you have asked us to look at, including any photos you send us

We collect this when you call, text or email us, when you submit our online quote form, or when you book a job with us.
How we use it
- to respond to your enquiry and provide a quote
- to schedule, carry out and follow up on your job
- to send invoices and process payments
- to keep records we are required to keep as a licensed plumbing and gas fitting business
- to contact you about the work we have done for you, such as a reminder that a service is due
We may use your contact details to let you know about Townend Plumbing & Gas services and offers. We never sell your personal information or pass it to anyone else for marketing, and you can opt out at any time by contacting us.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted providers to run the business, and your details may be stored or processed by them on our behalf:

- Google, for maps, reviews and website analytics.
- our accounting and payment providers, for invoicing and payments
- suppliers or subcontractors where a job needs them, and only the details they need to do the work
Some of these providers store data outside Australia. We will also share information where the law requires it.

This website uses cookies and analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to understand how the site is used and to improve it. This information is aggregated and does not identify you personally. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.

How we keep it safe
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. Job records are kept in password-protected systems and we only keep information for as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires.

You can ask us at any time what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it or delete it. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time.
